Making a Difference
The Domestic Violence Ministry is making an exciting difference in the lives of hundreds of women in our community! We at Victory Christian Fellowship care deeply about the needs of women who are dealing with the trauma of:
- Domestic violence
- Emotional, physical, and/or verbal abuse
- Low self-esteem
- Other related challenges
Using biblical principles, the trained, caring staff and volunteers of this outreach confidentially minister one-on-one to women. Together, they work to strengthen ladies, relying on the promise of God’s Word in Proverbs 11:14, “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” As they seek God’s wisdom, will and guidance through the Domestic Violence Ministry, women are finding support, comfort, peace, and even renewed joy!
Women are also gaining a deeper understanding of God’s love for them and the truth of His Word, which teaches that men should love their wives as Christ loves the Church. Ephesians 5:28-29 (NIV) declares, “In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church.” (Marriage counseling is also available for couples. For more information, please contact us.
If the Domestic Violence Ministry can help you or someone you know, please contact us today. We can also assist in placing women and/or children who are victims of violence into a safe environment and help them to find victory over their circumstances.
This ministry never charges fees for our services, and all appointments are kept in strict confidence.
