God's plan for the School of Biblical Studies and the School of Ministerial Training began in the fall of 1984 when He spoke to Dr. Gary Whetstone to open a Bible School that would train the Body to become effective ministers of God’s Word.  During much time of prayer and observation of other Bible Schools around the country, vision and objectives were established so that you, as a believer, will receive the accurate, rightly divided Word of Truth.

The purpose of these intensive courses of study is to enable you to live successfully in every area of your life and to empower you to reach those around you with the power of God’s Word.  Whether you attend for the purpose of full-time ministry or to promote personal growth, the curricula will equip you to advance the Kingdom of God both in a lost and dying world and in the Body of Christ. 

Main Campus/International Headquarters Office

The School of Biblical Studies Campus and International Headquarters are centrally located in the New York-Washington, DC corridor just a few miles south of Wilmington, DE: only a 30-minute drive from the Philadelphia metropolitan area and two hours from either Washington, DC or New York City.

Branch/International Bible Schools

The School of Biblical Studies is offered in numerous locations throughout the United States and nations around the world by video through our Branch and International School programs.  Students receive the same course of study and curriculum as those in our Main Campus location.  For locations nearest you, contact us at 302-324-5400 x1235.

Extension School

For individuals who are not in close proximity to the main-campus, branch or international school locations, or whose schedule does not permit them to attend classes, the entire School of Biblical Studies curriculum is available in several media formats, eg. Bible School in Nigeria

The All Nations for Christ Bible Institute located on the BIU campus was founded by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa in Benin City, Nigeria in the late 1968. The mission of the Bible School is to raise pastors to minster through all of Nigeria and the world. The Bible school students who attend are full-time and live on campus in Benin City. Currently there are over 1,000 students. Upon graduation, students return to their countries and become effective disciples for Christ. The President of the Bible School is Bishop Margaret Idahosa. Over 10,000 students have been trained as ministers and have planted churches in over 100 nations.

The Gary Whetstone Worldwide Ministries (GWWM) Video Bible Schools are also available throughout Nigeria. The video Bible schools make Bible school training accessible to all and are located in locations from the north to the south. Ten new schools were planted in 2004.

Idahosa University, the All Nations for Christ Bible School, and the GWWM Video Bible Institute are changing lives and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Nigeria and the continent of Africa.
